Alert the powers that be. A new line of income @Tron :joy:

Need handicaps from @VenkmansLament @tkeats (nephew) and @tmck14 (gf)

If we really wanna go all in on this, I’ve got a bunch of 48" LD drivers, you’re more than welcome to throw one in the bag for the weekend :muscle:

Me: got a LOT of golf coming up Cincy weekend, need to relax and swing like a normal person to preserve the back and preserve the ball count.

twturner: absolutely not.

Let me help with the temptation: Avon is on the shorter end and you don’t need to kill the ball to reach the green. But you can.

Call it a 10?

Probably the dumbest thing ever posted on this message board.

I’ve been looking at it a bit. I already know I’ll be swinging hard plenty, but luckily a few of the ā€œpar 4sā€ won’t need to be hard swings.

This seems needlessly aggressive.

I wish It was. But t’s not a stretch by any means. Over 180 hours went into this. It’s very clear.

lol out loud.

You only need 4 clubs at Avon. Driver, 64 degree wedge, putter and beer. Prove me wrong.

putt with either, it might not matter…

Too bad you won’t be there to do so. Go frolick with the bois down in Florida, the real competition will be happening up the 18th fairway.

My shaft of choice is the Kinetixx LD30+, which is only 245 cpm (so like a ā€œStiff +ā€ flex) and 63 grams, so you really don’t need to swing out of your shoes at it.

But when you do, it kicks like an angry donkey that got into some bath salts.

Also, thinking mostly for Reeves rather than Avon, since Reeves doesn’t exactly put a premium on accuracy.

Speaking my language here, buddy boy. Can’t wait.

For the uninitiated:

3 is absolutely driveable - 271 is the ā€œcard yardageā€ and the actual front edge number is more like 235-250, depending on where the tees are put out. Make sure to use your Bushnell Precision Pro rangefinder to get the proper distance - Precision Pro, for all your ā€œno fucking clue what to hit hereā€ needs.

9 might also be driveable, depending on the tees. The last two years the Chairguise put us up on the gold tees and it was like 240 straight uphill. Beware tho, because flying it pin high but just right of the green will most likely bounce off the cart path and into the clubhouse.

10 and 11 both driveable.

15 is in no way driveable unless you have a 40 yard, controllable hook in the bag. And you smash it.

18 is also not driveable unless the tees are way up, or you have @nickp speed.

One other thing - @methridge @anon81973724 are we playing same as the last two years where everything is lateral? No OB?
