Love the website and the transparency - it really amazes me what you guys have done so far, and all organically too.

Just marked September 1st on my calendar!

Awesome. Really felt that total transparency is critical for what we are trying to do. Glad that was what you took away from it.

wow, great work. Will take a deeper dive later, but currently backlogged AF at work

Had to browse the site on my phone, because for some reason it’s firewalled on the work laptop. The mobile site is great! Looks great and easy to read. I second @Junkman23 and others, love the transparency. If nothing else, it’s great insight into the effort you guys have put forth.

One thing I thought was genius was the tiki torch flagstick. Perfect for night golf over a few (or more) beers. Exactly how I picture BCN. So are there at least a few tiki torches laying around to swap out flagsticks once it all fully goes live?

I had the same problem because it’s a newly registered website. Good protection against scammers and phishers, bad for just trying to get my BCN fix.

Also, I saw ā€œ8 inch golf cupsā€ on the wish list. Do BCN hole-in-one’s count the same as regular hole-in-one’s? Asking for a friend…

Well shoot. That is annoying. Hopefully you will be able to browse on work computers soon. Like most sites, the web version is just a little bit better than the mobile.

We are very hopeful that with regular updates and continuing total transparency, members can really keep a pulse on what’s happening. If members happen to donate a few products or funds, we feel it is only right (and hopefully exciting for whoever donated) to keep them in the loop with how we are using their assistance to better the course.

We will absolutely have some tiki torches laying around for a few night rounds.

Not sure. They will be celebrated like a regular ace would be.

I’ve got a DSLR that shoots 1080P, what else do I need to make a decent video?

A somewhat decent microphone may help, although you could just pump music over the top and cut the background noise if wanted, as audio equipment gets $$$ quick, but there are budget friendly items out there.

And then someone who can work their way around video/audio editing, but basic content can be put together rather easily in the interim.

Seems very attainable. Now that the website is done and out there, we will get going on some video and other content. Once we start getting some donations coming in, the content will basically make itself. Excited to see what the BCN membership will be able to do.

The 9/1 BCN inaugural event date is penciled in the calendar and Southwest Points Saving is well under way.
