Was that all of Texas that got that? I had finally figured out how to turn off the amber, silver, etc… alerts on my phone, but I need to do my wife’s also.

Whole state received it from what I’ve read. Still not sure what I was supposed to do at 4:52 AM, an 8 hour drive away from Hall County. But at least I’m aware?
The incident took place incredibly close to where Childress Hall is being built, so maybe Apple just thought it was relevant for golfers in Texas.

I coached the guys younger brother/cousin (not 100 percent sure which)
Take it from someone who spent 5 years coaching in that area: not the type of place I would have every imagined having a world class golf course.

I am not currently…I’ve considered re-joining but haven’t played out there since Fall 2022. How are the conditions? I know they got some new bunker sand at some point since and a new irrigation pump I believe (according to Instagram). I always enjoyed the layout and the greens were usually nice to putt on. Only issue for me was I never met really met anyone except some of the older guys who played in big groups, so I always played alone. Do you live in Corsicana? My in-laws are there.
It’s in so so shape right now. They’ve been experimenting with bent grass greens in the winter. They’ve been on a tree removal mission which has helped the playability of the course. Also helps with grass growth. Have also redone some of the bunkers but they’re doing it kind of one at a time.
