I’ve never really been compelled to write a comment on Spotify but this one got my first.
The special projects stuff has been some of my favorite golf content ever. NLU truly has the dream team cooking right now.

This blew me away. It’s awesome and made me smile and laugh and get some chills at the big moments. But also this is a herculean feat on deadline. Doing this over a weekend, making it incredible, and also turning it around in two days is unbelievable stuff. Plenty of very Serious Journalism Organizations would not have been able to turn this level of quality, much less do it in that time frame. Some seriously elite shit from @KVV , @MerchCzar and everyone else who worked on this.
(Other note: it’s so, so fun to watch KVV flex his creative muscles in new ways. It both thrills and delights me every time.)

Walking to work through the Loop this morning with likely the dumbest grin on my face listening to “Oh no, he’s sendin’ it!”
Incredible work all around. Loved hearing the bits of all the analog stuff the patrons do in between the action, the day-long betting games, and wandering conversations.
But I think @MerchCzar encouraging Player to “Keep roaring!” got the biggest laugh. Neil, as you’d say, that’s good stuff, man.

The whole project was top notch, but what an incredible way to meet the moment of the second nine on Sunday and make it even more cool than I realized. Neil Schuster, the @MerchCzar himself, with one of the best spots on the grounds to watch it unfold. A guy who has seen his fair share of professional golf, shoot, actually played golf with legit pros and seen what they can do up close, that guy looked at Rory’s club, stance, and opportunity and said no fucking way.
“He’s sending it…”
I cannot imagine the chills of seeing that parachute down safely to the green then march towards the flag. But I can listen to it! Thanks, guys.
