I did not take your advice here but did the impossible. We had a back left pin and I went long into the rough, directly behind the pin. Used my 4hy for the most delicate of chips that almost went in, but stayed above the hole to about an inch. I had to throw a marker on it to get my putter because I was too scared to tap it in with my hybrid.

The course was a blast!

Good to hear people liked the course. I hear it beat a few people up. Definitely punches above its weight class.

6 was the hole I drained a 40 footer for par after blocking my tee shot onto the adjacent fairway lol

They gave us that front middle pin location on 9. Everyone in my group putted off the green. 10/10 would do again.

I was below the hole probably 4-5 feet and hit a 180 degree lip and was probably an inch from rolling down the hill. Part of me was almost wanting to see it happen just because of how funny it would have been

I was scared of my 30y wedge coming back…and went 30’ long. Probably the best putt of the day, after my lag didn’t get down the hill because I was terrified, was making the 12’ from above the hole lol

I hit a ton of greens and had some great chips and probably had damn near close to 40 putts. Tough adjustment after playing Forest Park on Saturday (which was a very pleasurable round as well). But I absolutely loved the layout and conditions of RR and would play it again in a heartbeat!

Man, has it already been a week since Summer Fest?

What a fantastic crew we had out at Rolling Road. It’s always a blast seeing so many familiar faces at these events - and just as exciting to meet those who #gotinvolved and joined us for the first time. Thank you all for making the effort to get out there to be part of it. Being surrounded by such an amazing group truly gives me all the feels, and I am so grateful for every single one of you.

@cwalsh27 @AmandatoryGolfFriday , thank you both SO much for all your help and being the best bev cart duo at your own golf club. :grinning:

Also, a massive shoutout to everyone who contributed to the NLU Endowed Scholarship Fund. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible $5,960 at the event! I personally made the donation to the Evans Scholars today.

Big props to Matt Junior, who captured some truly exceptional photos. You can check them out via the link below. If you’d like to share any on your personal socials, please make sure to tag him, NLU, and/or NLUevents. His Instagram handle is @Mattyjunes.

Even though the summer fest was just in Baltimore, petition to have it in Philly next year after the US Am at Merion. St. Louis in August? Pass.

BMW doesn’t sponsor the Am, so seems unlikely
