Oceanic Airlines has a better shot at landing at the NIT than I do.
I choked on my Banquet beer when @Llamaherd sank an eagle putt on the 18th green to force a PLAYOFF

I choked when I hit my second shot on 18 into the lake?
That was pure cinema. Those of us in the cheap seats didnât know the eagle put him in a playoff. Was a killer putt.
Was his head up?
It was another memorable weekend to close out my golf season. @Privatecollection keeps outdoing herself every year.
Itâs always good to hang out with people old and new. Discourse wonât let me tag enough people, but no one that I met was a bad hang.
Goal coming in was to get back to the finals. Playing in the cauldron, especially for a high cap that wonât find much (slightly) meaningful competition is a rush that is hard to compare.
I got two awesome groups in Day 1. Got to hit some very good shots along with some questionable shots, and showing the full 3PK Experience â˘.
Apologies that we didnât chat much in the cart @MikeRevak. I was really locked in on the early holes. Then I may have gotten a little miserable to be around when I realized I was quite possibly losing to @the.mark.fitzgerald.
Got to play in the finals with @Tron, @tdaly, and the champ, @LaneRock19. I know @Tron and @tdaly wish they had played better, but it was a pleasure to play with you too. I got to play with TDaly for 36 as well. You were great to be around, especially when I wasnât feeling well in the first hour of our round. I knew you had the ability to make a massive run even when you were 13 points back. I will always remember the positivity that you and @carrybagswag showed to everyone but especially to me.
@LaneRock19 is a worthy champion, and will look forward to future Champions Dinner. As the round went on, I knew that you were the biggest threat. After that gaff early, you didnât lose focus, and locked in and played great golf. I knew I needed to do something special to have a chance against you.
Big shout out to my caddie and my captain @TBagg for helping with the greens, keeping my head in the game, and being your usual great hang. We almost got it done, and props to you for getting us to within a shot of getting it done. I hope we get to run it back again, or not have @tdaly ruin your chances with a hell of a round.
I am sure I have left out some details, but it was a helluva weekend, and am looking forward to the next NIT.
He almost birdied from there!
Mine woulda been
@SmokyMtn is a changed man after heads up putting. Par Machine
I figured he was searching for anything after the Putt to win the extinction
Youâre absolutely 100% correct. I canât guarantee it wonât still look that way to win the tournament, but I like my chances if Iâm ever in that spot again.
It should have been over on 10 if I was even remotely competent at putting.
Glad to make it interesting on the last hole, @EastLakeAdjacent said on the tee that i need to eagle to have a chance, i was just trying to make Lane have to hole his birdie.
Was the most electric moment on the golf course iâve had!
Bold proclamation from a guy who BROKE PAR FOR THE FIRST TIME TO QUALIFY!
Outstanding day of golf for you, my man.
True! Saturday was a heady day!
I wont forget the vibes of riding around with you while feeling like ball just wanted to fly towards the flag!
The NIT was a real bright spot in whatâs been a a tough season. Huge thank you to so many who helped make it happen.
Appreciate all my hitters carrying me around the course and shoutout to that heating pad back at the bnb.
Weâll hopefully be back next year. No where to go but up!
Last placefully yours for the second year in a row,
Goose
Well Iâm glad the NIT was the start of this trip cause Iâm old and dumb. Did the sand boarding thing at white sand national park and broke my elbow. Itâs now 100 percent on to Catan season!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
How long is the rehab?
Noooooooooooooo.
