You were doing a sick trick like a kick flip or backflip right?

6 weeks they said if it doesn’t need surgery. Going to be a long drive home though :joy:

Lost in this tale is that White Sands is sick. Perfect time of year too.

Better story would’ve been that you were shredding your Ukulele too hard

I also said let’s make 3 3’s in a row after you made birdie on 15! To your credit you got 2 out of 3. Heck of a day out there my guy!

It’s been a week since the NIT, and for the fourth year in a row, I had an amazing time. All the credit to @Privatecollection for all her hard work to always create the best events

I had a great time with all my playing partners but special shoutout to @ChickPhilA @eljefe and @FlorencePuttingale for being the ultimate vibes group.

Last but not least many thanks to the HCC guys @HHSBallCoach @Jrob0822 @leftysauce @SmokyMtn @carrybagswag and of course the 2025 NIT champion @LaneRock19 for letting me stay with them.

While I may have won the Serv Pro award all three of my scores this year were better than my best round at last year’s NIT. Two of them are counting scores towards my handicap.

I was ready to quit golfing in 2022 and the NIT was going to be my farewell to golf. I hadn’t played in 2 months before flying to Florida, but I had so much fun I couldn’t wait for spring to start golfing again.

After winning my flight last year as a 31 handicap hard capped at 27 and several people telling me they thought I could be a 10 handicap if I could just be more consistent. I decided to get lessons for the first time in my life and actually practice. This year was my first year not playing off a hard cap and I was down to a 22.1 going into the NIT after the NIT I’m at 21.5.

All this is to say thank you to everyone that I have met and crossed paths with in the last four years. To anyone in the future who gets a chance to play in a NIT try and make it work you won’t regret it. This community of golf sickos is some of the best people I have ever got the chance to meet.

Sigh. I’m at 21.7.

Yeah, but that’s like 12.4 when converted the US GHIN.

Take it from someone in your flight, this is usually something the mid cappers say to us as sort of a sacrificial compliment to the golf gods because they intuitively know in any given round they’re like 4 bad swings away from a high cap score.

The only one of us to get paid to play out there, folks!
