Just finished the windiest of rounds at Joe Louis with @bendersgame. NWS records a 51mph wind gust in Riverdale during the round, and the wind peaked in the later part of the match. Extremely enjoyable morning. I took the match 9&7. @bendersgame trusts the process and is seeing some huge dividends with a swing change - some of the most beautiful baby draws I’ve ever seen. Look forward to playing again.

Had a fun match with @golfscout battling swirling inconsistent winds at Mt Prospect CC. Despite a shaky putter, I was able to conquer Alex on front, back, and 18.

Was presented with a really awesome gift from @golfscout, a 2CGC wood carving which will be getting framed and prominently displayed in my residence. He does intend to make more for others in the roost.
Also ate at Panda Express after the round, and had this well timed fortune from a fortune cookie

Out of town this weekend but after that I’m free most Friday/Saturdays. Would suggest 2nines but plan on playing 1940s ish pyratones (could still duel there but no idea how to do the handicap situation lol)
I gave it my best but fell 5&4 to @BigBird on the first hole of ‘Kelpie’s Korner’ (#14). Great match, sir. Had a blast checking out Mistwood for the first time!
P.s. @andrewf I grabbed a hotdog for the road and you were right, phenomenal clubhouse dog!

Hey, nschumerth great question! Thanks for asking. So right now we are 50% of the way through round one. That’s right folks, it’s half time.
Ladies and Gentlemen, we are 6 weeks post March Mudness the official beginning of the @SecondCityGC Golf Season. We are currently 5 weeks from our major, the Summit (and 6 weeks from the US Open). June 9th will be the absolute deadline to complete round one!!
This gives players the opportunity to have matches at 2 Nines in a couple weeks or at the Summit, plus a number of open weekends in between now and then.
We currently are waiting on the results of

@dflock24 vs @mlakota
We do have our first second round match locked in. Once the greatest of friends, now (sadly) turned mortal enemies (because of this golf tournament); @BigBird the number 3 seed squaring up against 2nd City’s number 1 KVV stunt double (and number 6 seed in this tournament) andrew f.

@Mr.Sunday you playing at the summit? I could try and get out before then, but my weekends are filling up quickly.
I also got yelled at this morning for taking friday afternoon and yesterday off to golf, so the chances of me sneaking out for a weekday round appear to be dwindling.
