Is this the place to ask about the 36 hole net medal play format decision? Is it a “need to get the entire field around the course” situation? Etc. After all of the Olympics format criticism, I was surprised to hear that same format was the choice for a section of a signature NLU event. @sundaybag

The second day is match play. It’s more like the national Am tournaments. Stroke play, followed by match play.
I was a little surprised they decided not to lean into the high school/college golf and go best 3 out of 4 scores for each 18 for the stroke play though

Feels like a classic case of “River envy”, see it all the time.
Chicago River is cool too, don’t feel too bad about having 1, reverse flowing, and somewhat man made River in your little town. It’s cute how it’s green on St. Pats day too

I know they’ve tried to clean it up, but I will never understand people kayaking in the Chicago River. 
When I lived in Baltimore a roommate of mine went fishing in the inner harbor and brought it home to prepare and eat for dinner. I made him leave for the night and go buy dinner.

We need a seeding day for what will be match play to decide the champion. BCN isn’t rated so net play will be tougher at BCN.
We also do quota for nearly everything else. The roosts are rooted in competition. Medal seeding into a match play bracket is the peak of competition formats.
