As mentioned in the original post, we are working hard on it this month. Ben, Dave, Randy, Tron, and I have a meeting on Thursday and will have updates coming before the end of December with final Roosts decided before the New Year starts. I don’t see any reason you can’t begin planning an ideal event calendar for your potential Roost and tweak that plan if necessary based on where things shake out later this month.

i’m confused about the co-habitation of the roost club championship and then the nit play-in events and the NIT. which one gives more OWGR pts?
does an NIT qualifying event get relegated to a roost club championship playoff event? or vice versa?
which one is the equivalent of the FA cup and which one is the premier league?

The Roost Club Championship will be like the Little League World Series or the Tavistock Cup. A team of 4 will qualify out of a region, represent the region, and compete against other teams.
The NIT will still be individual. The NIT spots will be given/focused to specific, large events in different parts of the country that are a way to award big events that have both local and national attendees. A lot of meetups, whether for the Roost or more casually, will not be awarded an NIT spot. So, it’s more like the Open qualifying series.
