Me at dinner tonight thinking about how us winning our first Roost Regional apparently shouldnāt make me excited according to people on here:
I played junior competitive golf for seven years and Iāve competed in mid am events a decent amount. I can tell you that I was just as nervous today as I was in any event with a lead, and I can tell you I was just as emotional birdieing the final hole and finding out we won as any moment Iāve had on the course.

I hit a good shot into our last hole with everyone behind the green and I only heard one person say nice shot. I was really concerned that A) it didnāt matter and it was over anyway or B)it really mattered and no one wanted to say anything.
Thank god we didnāt need birdie because it lipped out but it is fun feeling competition juices.

Iād like to nominate @leftysauce for the Jordan Flu Game award. For reference he went to bed immediately after dinner last night he felt so terrible. Heat index today reached 108
The performance he put on today was nothing short of Ironman behavior. He shot gross even in our back 9 match missing 2 greens by a combined 10 ft and dropped a hammer on 9 with a 3i to halve the morning match after @Theonewhoshanks grinded our asses off to flip that match.

Itās over in Washington. A massive, massive congrats to the Mayhem GC. An absolute class performance. They are well deserving champions and will be fun to have them playing this year.

Last year we had post round complaining. This year we had complaining from people not even playing in the event. Canāt wait to see what the simulation brings us next Roost Regional season.
Anyways, want to echo the statements above regarding the Deep South Regional. @HighCottonClub are worthy champions after battling the heat and the aftermath of a meal at Austinās.
Also want to thank @jan42dk for handing me a thorough beating in our match today. Never expected one of the nicest people Iāve ever met to be a full blown assassin on the course. Surgical stuff down the stretch there.
