Hey everyone,

Took me a couple days to recover - got home and was ragged AF on Mon/Tue. Just want to say thanks for coming out to KC this past weekend. Meant a lot that everyone made the trek and I left invigorated AF. Hopefully any concerns or curiosities about why we did it there were assuaged. Swope was spectacular and could be a top five muni in the entire country with minimal restoration work. BCN was resplendent. Oakwood was a cool spot and that putting course is among the best I’ve seen - appreciate the hospitality all weekend @sundaybag.

Philly guys - was great to meet you in Wilmington last month and despite us taking one of your players in Casey you all took it home. Best team, start to finish, and a delightful group at that. @MikeRevak keep it up - you guys strike such a great mix of getting people out to play recreational golf on the reg and mixing in some competitiveness. Thrilled you’re all coming to NIT.

High Cotton guys, was a pleasure getting to know you - can’t wait to get to Park Mammoth next year (also, Connor you beat me like a drum during that round in the semis, even with my man @GremlinGolfer on the bag - flawless golf, kudos.) My Juice Monkeys/Presidents Circle Members - you guys are legends and I’m stoked to get to some events in the coming months. Ohio, you guys absolutely SENT it. NorCal, you guys rule - esp @fullbodyfix who worked on my neck/traps for less than 90 seconds and I’ve felt immensely better since then. Urb Rohlers, you’re up there with the vibiest among us and Preston it was great getting to play with you. Supercell, my gosh, you all were the life of the party and I appreciate the introduction to Gates! SW guys, appreciate you taking Dave under your wing as he made many double bogeys and enjoyed drilling down on the geography of where your people are located. And, DuckClubbers - you had a great attitude and were a pleasure to spend time with, good to have you all back south of the border (will get you on a performance improvement plan for next year  )

Saturday gave me a glimmer of hope that I can still play good golf and get into grind mode.

Seriously, what a great group and reflection of the people on the refuge. Always stuff we can improve upon on our side from an operational perspective, esp with this being the first one, but @Privatecollection @sundaybag @MerchCzar you guys nailed it and started with a vision and executed on it. Well done.

Think we’ve ID’d a few spots that could use roosts (Pittsburgh; Western NY; maybe Indiana/Southern IllinoisWestern Kentucky; etc.) and we’ll keep evolving it. But man this was a great start. Will see everyone next year at Sweetens :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

Hell yes on the Pittsburgh Roost! Would love to help on that front!

Congrats to all the Roosts, it was really fun following the action in this thread!

You’ve got a friend in St. Louis

Bring extra garbage bags.

If 2CGC makes it, we can get Flood Brothers down there for the waste handling.

Everyone of those new potential roosts is OATW adjacent….I feel like this is a conspiracy to poach

Man, let Pittsburgh get a roost. Beating them will be so fun.

Oh man…So does a Pittsburgh roost get put into the Northeast region or the Midwest region??

If Western NY gets a Roost next year you best believe I’m gonna be pushing for a Buffalo/Niagara Falls + Casino meetup!

I can already see a Battle at the Border, one course on either side of the falls.

Would pair nicely with our already discussed Donald Ross double in Windsor/Detroit at Roseland and Rackham. Get a little Caesars Windsor action in too.

Even after a few days trying to get back in the groove at home, I’m having trouble putting words to this weekend… I hate to call anyone out specifically and leave anyone unnamed, as it was truly a weekend made special by every single person, but a few thank you’s are necessary

Thank you @Privatecollection for putting together an outstanding event! Truly, I don’t know how it could have gotten any better, kudos and thank you for all the work nobody sees.

Thank you @sundaybag for being a phenomenal host throughout the weekend… You have something special in KC, and I feel very lucky to have had the chance to experience it

Thank you @Tron for all the work you do helping outside of what folks might see and for riding with the boys from the jump. You carried the vibes all weekend long, it was such a pleasure to chat and compete with you.

Speaking of competing with TC, it seemed like there was a bit of uncertainty about who to send out in our matches from team NLU… thank you @MerchCzar for sending your brother into the thunderdome in the semis :honeybee::carpentry_saw: but seriously, thanks so much for the conversation and the vibes with the boys, we appreciate you and all you do

Thank you @Double_Bogey_Dave for your help, support, and involvement from the very beginning. It’s hard to tell what the Roost world may or may not look like without you, but I know this weekend sure wouldn’t have been the same without you. Your hard work and special efforts are very much appreciated

Thank you @ChickPhilA for your help and support throughout the season, and for the great vibes this weekend. It was a true pleasure to meet you and I thoroughly enjoyed our loop around BCN… Hope you enjoy AJ Brown and his tweets!

Congratulations to The @ElectricPhactory on a wire to wire performance and an impressive victory in our Inaugural Roost Club Championship. While the stakes were high, the vibes were higher and that’s pretty dang cool

Finally, to all of our new friends, of which there are far too many to name (who would have thought?)… Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You all opened yourselves up to a bunch of rednecks from Tennessee and allowed us to show you our real selves. From everyone who has already mentioned me/us above, to those who may be more likely to lurk, and to everyone in between, thank you for making this weekend a special opportunity beyond just golf… Sure, we wanted to win, real bad, but it means so much to have left with the pleasure of meeting y’all and having the time shared that we did.

See y’all at Park Mammoth on June 10 :mammoth:

PS… S/o @GremlinGolfer :handshake: vibes were locked in from the jump

So glad to have met everyone and some stand out memories from the trip:

Thank you NLU crew for setting this whole community up so we all had this opportunity and @sundaybag for hosting us on an epic Sunday.
I won’t be hesitating to hit any of y’all up if when I’m back South of the border.

In true Canadian style if I missed anyone I’m sorry

What’s Venmo?
