Are we expecting something similar to last year with a block of tee times on Friday before the festivities officially start?
yep.
Wanted to float something by the wider group … what do we think about getting someone to play some live music on Friday? My brother in law is a musician (not a part-time thing, he’s a pro and he’s quite good), and I’ve confirmed he doesn’t have a gig that night. Would folks be willing to throw $10 or $15 into the hat to help cover his costs? He could play solo, but still plugged in/electric.
Note that I haven’t even run this idea by the course yet, so it could be a complete non-starter lol, but wanted to check with this crew first.

The jalapeno cheese sausages were quite tasty.
We are looking for a few other volunteers to handle a Friday night cookout. I believe @rmaas91 has a big bucket of tailgating supplies at the ready

Where did we land regarding payment? Are we paying in advance or when we check in?
So everyone will pay for their own golf package when we check in. But lodging was paid for as a group, currently on @WhineyCracker52 's card. We will send out info about paying him (based on room type) soon. This will act as your “deposit” for the weekend and weed out any pretenders in our midst.
