2021 South Carolina Refuge Event

I’m definitely interested if it’s before June.

I’m only in if its a Myrtle Beach trip made up of exclusively putt putt courses that are pirate themed…

Hilton Head area is always an option

Definitely hoping it ends up being myrtle beach.

Pawleys seems ideal. So many good courses and accessible.

Has a month or couple weekends been contemplated for this event yet?

Columbia has never been more adequately described.

Maybe the Charleston Muni is the spot.

I played it once about 10 years ago and it was in not great condition, but the bones were fantastic.

They picked the perfect guy to interview.

That gui needs to be on the Refuge. Everything about him rules.

“I just can’t wait to put the ball in the hole “ is my new course mantra.

I have the week off between Christmas and New Years. Planning to go down and check it out.

You know, one of my best friends house backs up to the 6th (?) tee box…

What’s up bitches! I’m glad to be back on the Refuge, things got a little “wishy washy” after the “Rail” down in Aiken…sigh…Devon… anywhoo…I’m looking at March 5-7, and leaning toward Myrtle, but could be convinced Charleston Muni thanks to my golf lover @LukeBoatright and #mypresident @Double_Bogey_Dave

Most importantly, I would like some feedback from this play on the Quota Game:
2-day event, quota game like normal, but with a “Tour Sauce” twist…

Extra points are awarded for the “Tour Sauciest” guis for the weekend, ie. you where a white belt with those tight-ass pants, that’s a point…full “clothing endorsement”, that’s a point…the gui with the most points starts 5? points towards his quota, next guy gets 4 free points, FEDEX Cup style and so forth…

Anyway…good to be back on the Refuge, fire away with all the comments, concerns and other bull…

Find a place in Myrtle is my vote for the day of event…renting it for the day is the best case scenario then people can build a trip based off that.

@Double_Bogey_Dave and I spoke at the NIT and he mentioned some places that would be good.

also, Welcome back buddy. Now stop dodging my golf invites.

Eagle Nest, Myrtle Beach National West, Wizard, Man O War, International Club, Wild Wing, Beachwood, Crown Park, Diamondback, River Oaks and founders club are all good options (and most importantly more likely to be rentable) for an all day event. March is high season in Myrtle so getting large blocks of tee times or available for rent at this late date is a challenge.

So far off the beaten path they have to be begging for people to come out there. Formerly an annual trip to Cherry Grove every summer got me to play Diamondback a few times.
