Here we go. We got a shitpile of rain in the last 36 hours so I’m not gonna try and play from the back tees. Falconhead gc in Austin, Blue tees - ~6100 yards, 70.2/128sh rating. Plenty of golf course. Feels weird af carrying my bag without the driver. There’s nowhere to rest my arm when I walk!

Until I read this, I never even thought about where my arm went when I carry. Now I can’t stop thinking about the fact that I’m not even sure what the hell I do thanks to being a member of the mafia for too long.

I am a mental midget. Was +6 standing in the middle of the 17 fairway holding a knockdown wedge from 110 into the wind. Make 6 there, and bogey 18 for good measure. 40-41/81.
Hit the long irons really well all day. Two swings with lack of focus hurt me (15 into the hazard and 17 holding wedge). Every shot counts, kids.

@anon3021505, great pod with @Randy. I have had Titleist 710 CB irons since 2008. When asked what my next set would be, I would always reply something more forgiving. Even though my next set of real irons may not be blades, I am so far in on The Blade Challenge. My goal is to find a set of MacGregor VIP blades preferably 2-P, but will settle for less. Recruiting @kevjones to play Lick Creek GC from the blues. Updates to come.
