Whoop Band | NLU Group Code: COMM-NLUNLU

I was looking at this as well I don’t think there is an appreciable difference but supposedly a reddit user saw better accuracy as compare to bike specific hr when on bicep.

Every time I go to renew with the discount code it doesn’t work. Any tricks?

I use strain coach for all activities except golf. Do you guys start the activity for golf or just let it automatically pick it up?

Automatically picks it up for me and is terrifyingly accurate based on tee times and pace of play.

Sometimes I’ll start it…if I remember. But other times I’ll let it automatically pick it up and then go back and edit the activity to make sure the time frame is right.

Taking the plunge for a year commitment, I have notoriously bad sleeping habits so I’m really hoping to make some progress in correcting that.

How many sleep disturbances do y’all usually have a night? I’ve been on whoop for about a month now and my disturbances are usually in the 10-14 range every night. I find it strange I have that high of a number because I hardly ever actually wake up during the middle of the night and I usually wake up feeling rested. Not sure if I could be doing things to help get this number down (maybe reducing screen time before bed even more)?

not sure how to join the group, can someone add me? @hitchings21

thanks to the person that added me. now, how thefuck do some of yall have an HRV over 100?

My avg is 7 a night as a comparison. 10-14 is probably slightly negatively affecting your sleep efficiency and your recovery.

Any advice on getting the band to automatically recognize spin/peloton rides? I’m only four days in but it hasn’t recognized the few rides I’ve done, even after waiting half an hour or so. Does it take time to learn before it will start detecting them or am I not waiting long enough? Automatic activity detection is turned on in the settings. Not a big deal to enter the activity manually, just want to be sure I’m not missing something as I understood it would log activities automatically with good reliability.

It usually takes a bit for the band to learn your activities. You’re better off starting the activity manually the first few times.

Kinda what I figured, but thanks for the confirmation.

apparently the actual number is less important than the ability for you in improve upon your own baseline. Or so I heard on one of their pods.

You’ll have to compare the count to the time in the summary page. I had 6 yesterday but one was pretty long so was much more noticeable

I read where some are just you rolling over in the middle of the night while you’re asleep. My wife said I toss and turn but I don’t remember it and I’ll wake up and have 17 disturbances so that checks out.

Only on day 5 with my Whoop. Does it typically automatically pick up range sessions for you guys or is it worth manually adding them as golf? I have played a few times since wearing it but haven’t spent any time on the range yet.
