I had this issue… support had me do a device reboot then let the battery go to 0% before recharging. Seems to have done the trick.
Interesting, I may look into this.
Thank you!
Yea, I was getting like 2 days max on a full charge when I reached out to Whoop support. Pretty simple fix, was surprised it works. I’m back to a 4 day charge. Then again, I’ve been pretty lazy recently too…
I know that there have been a few people looking for 3.0’s to try out, and I have one that is headed into the bin unless someone wants it? My wife tried it for like a week and didn’t like wearing it, so it has been sitting unused for the rest of her 2 month trial. I don’t think that should stop someone else trying it for a trial period, but I’m unsure. It will come with a regular band, a hydroband, a bicep band, and a bicep sleeve.
Still waiting for support to respond to me on my 4.0 Assume it’s just that it’s been over the holidays. Pretty annoying though.
Upgraded to 4.0 and Santa brought the boxers.
Not to get too personal, but clearly not getting good readings on sleep/recovery?
Anyone else find problems with the ‘whoop wearables’ or success with them?
Is bicep sleeve for 3.0 different than 4.0?
It is, and noticeably so. The 3.0 bicep sleeve is bulkier and much heavier. 4.0 is a lot sleeker & feels like better quality material. Easier to clean also, which is a big plus given it gets put through a lot more than the regular bands.
Finally was able to speak to a hardware person on their chat and have to send the band and battery pack and wait for whenever they can replace them. Oh well.
I’ve only used the wrist band but my highest recovery is 41% and that’s after deliberately going several days straight with very little strain, no alcohol, no junk food, etc…
And your highest is 41?! Wtf…
Yea I don’t quite understand why it’s so low
Were you bitten by a zombie?
Every single recovery I have had is in the 20s. Granted I haven’t gotten good sleep. But when it is telling me to go to bed at 630, hard to trust the device. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong.
Seems to calculate my heart rate 10-20 above my Apple Watch when comparing them.
I am almost a week into the 4.0 (finally)…and all my readings are off. Higher heart rate than usual, lower HRV then Normal, lower recovery then normal.
Not doing anything different then I was with the 3.0. I thought it was just a rough few days, but seems to be carrying over.
And my battery dies really fast.
I have had one since September 2020. I’m not a crazy workout warrior or anything, but I have noticed that the Whoop has really helped dial in my sleep. You fill out a “journal” each morning with what you did the day before (drink, fly on a plane, how much water, etc.) and the Whoop gives you a report that shows what helps/hurts sleep. The biggest eye opener for me has been how bad alcohol hurts my sleep, but a low recovery score also gives me an excuse to lay on the couch all day. Definitely would recommend the Whoop though!
I got up to 71% this morning. The zombie bites are wearing off
Let it drain down and reboot the strap with the app and charge it up.
I’ve had it for a few months and after 2-3 firmware updates I give it the “windows reboot” treatment and it seems to fix it.
This is what Whoop support told me to do as well.
I wasn’t able to get it to 0% last night, it got to as low at 9% around 8:00 at night and I knew I wasn’t gonna be up for it to hit 0 and go through that. So I may have to try again
I get it low ~10% then manually reboot it via the app
