Where did you play this week? (Part 2)

That scorecard is sick. I really want to get to Purdue and play both courses sometime soon. They have been high on my list for quite some time.

Feel free to hop in my Dye-hard thread if you want to do a more in depth write up on what you liked or didn’t like. I love reading what others think of Dye’s stuff.

Ironically, the Purdue courses are the only Dye courses I have played despite growing up in Indiana (his only course semi close to me is French Lick and I ain’t paying that price).

In terms of the Purdue courses….rumor has it that their might be a refuge related event there next year. :eyes:

I’m not paying that price either until I need to complete my “Dye Trail” to get the pin flag. And even then it’s going to be a tough sell.

Oh no shit? Maybe I wait and do them both then!

No idea what that is

Been on a bit of a C-Suite heater this month…

We’ll start with the Coeur d’Alene Resort for my mom’s birthday.

Then I moseyed on over to Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, WA:

A few days later I took a flight to Pittsburgh to play Oakmont CC:

And then I just got back from 72 holes at Gamble Sands with a great group from the PNW Crew. We did a Ryder Cup thing featuring Team @Joezwickl vs Team @fishtopher18 featuring all sorts of formats and your boy went 4-0. I’ve still NEVER lost a match at Gamble Sands.

(also, forgot to take pictures, but we had our resident photogs @jasonnutter and @zangief76 there as well, so I am @'ing them to share photos here)

Well you do use a LAB

You’re having one hell of a year with the courses played.

Thank you for finding this. I looked back and thought it was from @BuffaLouies, but didn’t realize it was @RobThuss instead!

I do, and it works. Was the final holder of the Don’t 3 Putt coin this weekend

Best deal in golf. Essentially getting free hotel for the duration based on the green fees. Gorgeous scenery at all the courses. Unfortunately member-member coincided with my annual buddies trip this year but absolutely recommend this.

You play all the courses on the trail, they give you a pin flag.

If I play the Purdue courses next year with the Indiana crew I’ll only be two courses from finishing. Tippecanoe and French Lick.

Played all of these except for Maple Creek and Tippecanoe when I lived in Indiana. They are all really good courses but definitely get wild at times.

whew this feels like a real easy call - @adam17walt, myself and another friend went out there a couple years ago to do both courses, and they happened to be shut down for some big event that same weekend, so, we’ve been looking for a reason to go back. roughly on the calendar now

(we did end up playing a couple of other fun courses so it was far from a total loss - deer track and coyote crossing, plus brickyard the next day)

Wow I like this

Damn. Doesn’t look like you can go back and back fill it unfortunately. Oh well, time to figure out getting back up to both Purdue courses. Also, you might be able to play Tippecanoe on the trip to Purdue as well.

I think you can if you swing by the course with your proof of purchase and have them generate the codes for you at that time.
