That scorecard is sick. I really want to get to Purdue and play both courses sometime soon. They have been high on my list for quite some time.
Feel free to hop in my Dye-hard thread if you want to do a more in depth write up on what you liked or didn’t like. I love reading what others think of Dye’s stuff.
Ironically, the Purdue courses are the only Dye courses I have played despite growing up in Indiana (his only course semi close to me is French Lick and I ain’t paying that price).
In terms of the Purdue courses….rumor has it that their might be a refuge related event there next year.
And then I just got back from 72 holes at Gamble Sands with a great group from the PNW Crew. We did a Ryder Cup thing featuring Team @Joezwickl vs Team @fishtopher18 featuring all sorts of formats and your boy went 4-0. I’ve still NEVER lost a match at Gamble Sands.
(also, forgot to take pictures, but we had our resident photogs @jasonnutter and @zangief76 there as well, so I am @'ing them to share photos here)
Best deal in golf. Essentially getting free hotel for the duration based on the green fees. Gorgeous scenery at all the courses. Unfortunately member-member coincided with my annual buddies trip this year but absolutely recommend this.
whew this feels like a real easy call - @adam17walt, myself and another friend went out there a couple years ago to do both courses, and they happened to be shut down for some big event that same weekend, so, we’ve been looking for a reason to go back. roughly on the calendar now
(we did end up playing a couple of other fun courses so it was far from a total loss - deer track and coyote crossing, plus brickyard the next day)
Damn. Doesn’t look like you can go back and back fill it unfortunately. Oh well, time to figure out getting back up to both Purdue courses. Also, you might be able to play Tippecanoe on the trip to Purdue as well.
