Castle pines is sick. Amazing staff and facility. It’s a shame I disgraced it with my bad game the day I got to play it but a birdie on 16 in front of DL3 is all I choose to remember about my play that day lol

Yeah it’s been answered but it’s 1000 feet higher in elevation than Denver

Played out at Country Club of Buffalo yesterday. Donald Ross design that’s mostly situated in a former quarry, it’s an extremely underrated course that probably goes under the radar thanks to the depth of courses in the region. The 6th hole is probably one of the best par threes around point blank (honestly the collection of par 3’s is elite).

Shorts and socks looking great as always :muscle:

I don’t, my boss at the club I work out reached and got accommodated luckily. Seems like they’re extremely private and pretty closed off

Rolling Green Golf Club - Springfield, PA
Just outside of Philadelphia, this William Flynn design opened in 1926 and played host to the 1976 U.S. Women’s Open and the 2016 U.S. Women’s Amateur.

Some really cool holes and green/bunkering and I think the best set of par 3s around - short, long, hilly. With the wind yesterday one of them was playing about 125 yds and another was playing about 265 yds from the member tees.

Gil Hanse started some restoration work here in 2021, I think tree removal (over 1000+) and some bunkering work, but don’t quote me on that.

I have now played here a few times and think that this place is just behind Merion and Aronimink from a pure golf perspective. No frills here, no pool, no tennis, just some really good golf holes.

I have heard such good things about Rolling Green. Hopefully I am able to play there sometime this year.

Another great one this week. Got out to Hudson National for the first time. They recently finished a year long renovation so the greens weren’t running super fast but it didn’t take much away from the experience. Place was immaculate and had beautiful views.

Played Pitreavie today for 9 holes before slow play and shot conditions got the better of me.

The greens though, beautiful MacKenzies and lightning quick. Always appreciate a Mack two tier.

Also $25 and overpriced

Sawmill Creek in Huron, Oh with shades of South Carolina? Fairways, Bunkers, and Greens were in exceptional shape with the back tees on some holes in ‘meh’ condition. Had some holes in pretty gnarly spots which required you to stay below the hole. Overall a fun Fazio design.

Also bonus fried egg on the green.
