What did you think of the “driving range “ for a course at that price point? I’ve seen pictures but haven’t played it.

I loved it… honestly
It was exactly what it should have been. Not having the land for a full range and most likely your customers are coming from a casino and just need a few swings to warm up. No one is putting in work on the range there. Again, not some place I would play everyday but was perfect for taking clients out while in Vegas. 10 min uber ride back to the casino.

I never realized this. I always thought it was a 3LG production the whole time. Apparently he just redesigned it.

Did you putt out of any of the bunkers?

Was never in a position to, but it’s nice to have the option out there!

Ibis Tradition Course in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Pristine conditions and a fine Nicklaus design.

Had Gatorade dispensers and a fridge with cold towels :pinched_fingers:

@kruges and I got out with a buddy of mine to play Pasatiempo today in Santa Cruz CA. I grew up 30 min away but had never played the course. It’s special. It feels like home. The flora and fauna, the smells, sights, and sounds. All of them are quintessential Santa Cruz County. This is for sure in the top 5 courses I’ve ever played. What a day

Cal Club in South SF was up today. It’s pure…it’s stupid good…the property is amazing. If I won the lottery I’d join this place in a heart beat

Stanford GC!

Also played Diablo CC this morning but not any decent pics bc it was so damn foggy. Fantastic Willie Watson golden age GC though. Loved it

Diablo CC is insanely good. Very close to “I’d drop all plans to get out for a round if invited” good

Got the privilege to play it once earlier this year, it’s so underrated in the Bay Area golf landscape.

Pictures from a clear day earlier this year:

The trees on 18 are so good. Hitting into the maze of trees is so provocative

Stanford is so sick. Was lucky enough to grow up playing there

Stanford is awesome. Needs a reno but is still great. Wait until you see the centerline trees. I wont share what hole # because you’ll know it when you see it lol. I still do not understand this golf hole :joy:

@fishtopher18

I have arrived

Our host who used to caddy here when he was a kid and then played golf for Stanford in the '60s told us that there is a plan for a renovation in the next year or two. It’s going to be done by the Doak group. LFG
