Weekly Roost Golf?

This doesn’t need to be its own topic but I didn’t know where else to ask, do Roosts have weekly games / get-togethers or just come together for the larger events that’s we all hear about? I have a weekly mens league here but would love to drive once a month ( in Utah so CO or AZ ) to get a round in with a group from here

I think it varies by roost.

Large majority of them have a monthly event. Almost all use discord/slack to post and play in informal tee times together.

Seeing as how you’re in the unincorporated roost territory of Utah, Can I interest you in an official unofficial National Roost Membership?

Sounds like you’re ready to join the Dry Heat GC roost. We have a growing group of Utah golfers, mainly seem to be based in SLC, but our season consists of monthly meetups with other roost members.

Sure. If you guys ever get games going in St. George or mesquite its a solid 5.5 hour drive but it’s do-able

Utah has been claimed by the Aloha Crew. This is an extension of previously annexed territory in Las Vegas.

Everyone in the roost doesn’t meet up at one designated spot monthly. You just have to get one “scoring” round in monthly, preferably with someone else in the roost.

You can drive down to SLC to play with one or three other members of the roost, and that counts as your scoring round for the month. Then the next month, they could potentially drive up to you for that scoring round. We also allow the Utah crew to bank a few extra scoring rounds before the winter months.

Plenty of weekly golf between the @DryHeat and the @RockyMountain Roosts. You can DM @RolandOfGilead or @bkentfield to join their groups and find weekly games/meetups. Feel free to DM me as well if you have more questions on Roost shenanigans
