Dunes club will be hard to plan out as they are gonna be slammed with guests trying to play and they still want the members to be happy. I say we keep the championship match local and maybe try our hand at harborside or something within city limits to keep the city golf vibe alive.
We can do a vote to democratically pick the championship round.
@djheadley thinking rationally like an accountant again. I think a phone call to dunes club is worth it . You just make the call 3 weeks prior. A weekday will help our chances. Seems low risk high reward. will be tough to get 12 though i agree… and having us all there would be fun. we could actually have breakfast together afterwards which would really be a sweet moment amirite?

another idea could be we vote on like the top 3-4 options, and then the winner of the quote game gets to pick the venue for the championship. he may not be there to play in it if it’s dunes club, but that’s the rub of the green.

Let me toss out the idea of a Breakfast Ball end-of-year weekend the first or second weekend of October. If Dunes Club is doable, we could go to Grand Rapids and play Mines, Pilgrim’s Run, Stoatin Brae, Diamond Springs. Or up to Wisconsin (Lawsonia, University Ridge, or any of the biggies).

It would be so nice to tee off around 5:45 and be back at home by 7:30. Would give me a full 30 minutes before I have to get on the phone with a couple NYC jabronis and explain to them I can’t meet their deadline because they haven’t provided enough data.
