What’s the process for getting a sub? I’ll be a scratch next week and need someone to take my spot.

looking at the sub sheet tab here, there’s only one scheduled sub next week and that’s @rmbartell and he’s already got a spot; you might ask @JAD or @FlapjackNickelsack and if they are not interested there’s a longer list of subs on the first tab of the spreadsheet to reach out to

@djheadley and @teddypargame - did we ever establish an end game for the league? I seem to remember some discussion early on about there being playoffs or a major (extra points?) or something along those lines but it’s a bit hazy

Looking at the sub schedule now, it appears there’s open spots on 5/13, 5/20, 6/10, 7/29 and 8/12 for any guys who want to get in the mix on those weeks.

Nothing officially has been decided. I think a match play playoff would be fun to determine the a Clocktower Champion.
Let’s discuss how it should shake out. I am very open to ideas, because I am having a hard time thinking of a fun, inclusive, and logistical playoff scenario.

I like the idea of using the quota standings to create some type of playoff bracket for the last four tee times of the season. Can still stick to quota scoring to determine who moves on. Think it would be fun.

I hoovered up one of next week’s spots. I can’t think of a better way to kick off a 3-day weekend at Sand Valley.

Easiest would be to make sure 16 guys are in it and this way include 4 subs. Then a 16 man playoff would take 4 weeks, so we’d need to end the regular season to account for that.
I like the idea of playing the championship someplace exotic. Like cape kidnappers or something.

Dunes Club was brought up, which would be ideal. Is it feasible?
If we do a 4 week playoff it looks like there will be 18 weeks in the “regular season” barring weather issues. I’d say count your best 10 or 12 quota rounds in the inevitable case where there’s a couple guys w/ widely varying attendance records.
Then take the top 4 subs among those who play, idk, like 5 rounds (that exact number TBD) to round out the field of 16 for playoffs.
Many are wondering if rain induced “soft” conditions have created a crowning situation here.
