My credit card is so jealous of all those points in one transaction…
The amount of points I got last year was absurd. It is also nice to have just 11 guis pay you instead of doing a one day event and tracking down 40+ payments.
Additionally, if you all know what weeks you won’t make it can you update the sub sheet on the google sheets?
gotta bow out from full time this year fellas, hope to still be able to catch a few rounds but not gonna be able to swing (golf pun) it all year
@kbergen28
@setwilli
@Wyclef
@delirioustim
@GoodGuySam
Anyone want to take his spot? First come first serve
Those who already have a players card, or are acquiring one before the league starts, would send $605 - $30 = $575?
That’s correct
Ah. I Missed this, sorry about that. I can’t take the spot of a full timer but will be a remain a loyal and plucky* substitute
*my definition of plucky includes mega blocked 6i’s that are headed to kill commuters but get brought back into the ballpark by the trees that line seven
With the full time roster official now let me introduce everyone to the 12 brave guis who have decided to wake up absorbedly early for 23 weeks in the summer.
@ChiFFI an OG breakfast baller who has been heading to Waveland Thursday mornings since before it was cool. A middle of the pack Quota score in both 2021 and 2022 type of player, but I have a feeling with the new Tilt game coming into play, he has a great chance of making it to the playoffs.
@PinkPantser need no real intro, he is the king of swag. I can’t remember the last time I saw him in shorts. He’s been in the lab this winter at his local simulator and I expect him to come out swinging early on.
@TheAbeFroman another OG breakfast baller is back for a 4th year and even though he has a big boy job, his golf game still amazes me. Interested to see if we will game some more vintage Titleist clubs now that NLU is with them.
@JAD the 2022 quota champ and second place finisher in the race to the clocktower has probably been hibernating in 5iron since last November. A lot of whispers our there about if he can grab the championship title this year.
@Ballgame Sir Ted can hit the crap out of a golf ball and Tyler and Jon make up our 1 HCP players. Not only is he good at golf, I have seen some numbers from the Peloton thread and this gui can peddle.
@Wheel is our man at the back of the pack for 2022 finishing DFL after coming in second in the race to the clocktower in 2021. A brutal fall, but what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.
To round out the returning members we have @rmbartell who is currently sponsored by Srixon, Wilson and Kirkland among other mid tier golf companies, the gui swings out of his shoes and gets deep into the data, which some say is his downfall, but who can really say. He had the highest volatility last year with a 12 points swing from his worst round to his best round at Waveland. We are all hoping he misses another week this year so we get more donuts and coffee.
Onto the new members
@treeputttim has been a top sub the last two years and now is a full timer. Watch out for his hybrid off the tee, it may not go long, but he is a FIR machine
@tmstrods has joined after one year as a sub and I welcome another lefty to the membership. He is far better than me and will casually shoot close to par without breaking a sweat. Here’s to hoping we can get a 4some of lefties to really through off the bike lady on 9.
@Cswartz joins the full time crew after only playing 5 times last year, I could tell he had the bug and was just crazy enough to sign up for more early morning rounds.
@Lockwoodj14 is coming in hot after only playing once or twice last year, he is truly our wild card and I can’t wait to walk Waveland with him.
Wow - speed training starts today.
Also good for free entry into the player haters ball.
I believe we hole #1 will be lengthened this year with the new tee boxes opening up. Gonna need that extra speed right off the bat.
Also I’m gonna need @BabblingBrooksKoepka’s spread sheet/google data input as I am no longer going to keep the scores on Google Sheets.
I can email the sheet over, share permissions, all that good stuff. I have some best practices for updating as well.
Remote support seems like an option here. We’ll get you an Imo’s gift card for $20, should get like 8 pizzas.
The big tree on 2.
Looking forward to launching em as a sub a few times this summer. How does that process work? Is there some sort of priority for subs, or am I free to put my name in for some of the sub slots on the google doc?
