Waveland Breakfast Ball Club: 2025 (Chicago, IL)

Wasn’t sure how close we’re cutting this. I shot an all-time round at Robert Black yesterday that will certainly combine with my league round tonight and push my hcp lower. Personally it’s been a fun few weeks of golf but I apologize to my GR teammates for giving strokes away. Is this a “monitoring the situation” and adjusting quota if necessary on the tee?

That is correct

My calcs are more just to give everyone an idea what their quota is looking like

I thought about it.
My wife is basically a domer I guess.

When I lived in London I told people my home town (Des Moines) was close to Chicago. It’s all relative.

Although low key a sneaky amount of Brits know Des Moines because of the travel writer Bill Bryson and the caucuses.

A wild round today with @tmstrods. Things were looking bleak after 4 holes, but we turned it around on the back half to put up 22 points and a quota of +6

Pleasure to have @andrewf out there with me but we struggled to a -4 on the quota. If it’s any indication of how our round went, the best shot we had was Andrew snapping photos of our Coyote friend on 7 tee.

Is there anything better in golf than getting up and down for birdie in alternate shot? It was really fun to watch you boys work today

He didn’t even rake!

Thanks for having me. T&Ps for your ankle for having to carry me all morning. On to Grand Rapids!

+2 for @Lockwoodj14 and me. Good to knock off another low score thanks to my Sungjae ironman schedule.

@delirioustim and I will now be known as “quota boys”. We hit +4 on our quota with a beautiful birdie on 9.

@treeputttim and @FlapjackNickelsack howd y’all shoot?

Lefties were hard at work today and in the zone for most of the holes. Let’s just not talk about 4.

Can I also shout out the grounds crew for some proactive and new pin placements

Not to call him out but I just remembered this and have to shout him out.

@delirioustim hit a not so great drive on 8 that went right and luckily hit a tree and came flying back towards us. He did the only acceptable thing and ran towards it attempting to catch it. He did not, but I commend him for trying.
