Hell yeah just tearing up the average leaderboards. Definitely because of all those rounds I’ve played
I’m going to need whatever ‘secret stuff’ @HackMarkham and @Mr.Sunday consume at 5:00a in the morning so I too can average under par on the first hole …
Espresso? DJ’s booga suga? Superior genetics?? What is it!?!?
@ChiFFI clearly I’m not cracking my can of ‘Big-D Energy’ early enough …
Yea that and a few others don’t make sense. I have made par a few times, but no birdies there.
I have not made a birdie on 1 all season so I think the data is off
I suppose the above would indicate you both average under-par rounds which doesn’t quite align with the gross leaderboard.
Regardless, I’ll still take any secret stuff you both may have lol
@HackMarkham Averages 28.77 at Syd.
That would’ve won our Red, White, and Blue Scramble two years back …
The 2022 Metze’s Menches were a tour de force and will forever live on in WBC history as the only undefeated scremble team - I’m still salty us Waveland 29ers posted a Waveland 30.
Metze’s Mensches is just another piece of @TeddyPargame’s legacy
Wildly bizarre round this morning …
Hole 2: Topped drive, sliced 5w, thin 5w, GW, LW, 1 putt bogey - that’s 1,025 yds of club when all are hit well (290+250+250+130+100)
Hole 5: Heel-pull drive, 6i, fat LW, LW chip to 5 ft … friggin 2 putt
Hole 7: Uber-thin drive which ricocheted off the white tee marker, launched straight up and right barely staying in bounds, 6i, s word 7i screaming towards LSD, LW from 107 to a foot (see image), 1 putt double
Hole 9: Another uber-thin drive almost hitting red tee marker (sick!), 7i PTSD led me to pull 8i from 182 … hit to 4ft with match on the line … friggin 2 putt
All that nonsense and still shot a 43 - My word of the day was ‘Traj’ic. And well, you all should know the outcome of any match I’m in at this point.
Fantastic morning nonetheless, all I really care about is hangin’ with you guys on my favorite morning of the week
Image 1: Great shots happen when they don’t matter
Lovely morning walk
Get those scores in
Please continue these write ups. Felt like I was there with you.
Believed we were done with match play, but the Wills slaughtered Abe and I, they may have had a best ball 31 or so.
I completely wash my hands of any data integrity issues since transitioning to @djheadley, as I can assure you my spreadsheet and reporting controls were in pristine condition.
My oh my what the new regime has become…
This is what happens when you go from consulting to banking you lose all excel skills
Should’ve made the updates today given you were 6 espresso shots deep before 8am …
Tee marker on 7
I love playing with all of you but man does Bartell bring the goods every week. The most fascinatingly up and down golf game. You never know if he’s going to top it, bomb one 315, shank it, or stiff it from 205. There’s never a dull moment or a sensible 9i to 25 feet.
Our very own Spieth.
I’d also add:
Hole 1: massive drive (only one of the group in the same zip code as the fairway), missed green from 80 yards, 5 for 4 to win the hole.
Hole 4: I vaguely recall you shitting your pants off the tee and realizing I had to go it alone.
Hole 6: A majestic 9 iron draw into the wind that apexed at about 160 feet and landed pin high just off the green
Hole 8: an actual normal golf hole. Driver near the green, decent wedge to 20 ft. 2 putt par. Frankly, it was alarmingly boring.
Many ubers in here, you didn’t hit one did you?
No, but I believe his Wilson staff is sitting in the pedestrian underpass that leads to the Peace Garden.
I’m not sure which I find more amusing: “actual normal golf hole” or “alarmingly boring”
