A recent turn of events means I get to come to Vibestock a few days early. Sounds like Iām probably already too late to book golf in the Pinehurst area. That true or should I look to plan B which is go down to Aiken.

Thereās always some golf to be found here on varying grades of golf courses. Having said that, I really love Aiken.

Plan as of now is get into town the 29th at noon and Iām playing Tobacco Road the 1st then Vibestock so 1.5 days to fill.

If youāre traveling from points southwest/south then Iām inclined to say stop in Aiken and play for the day. Then spend your AM on Friday driving up.
Was just informed that the wife has planned an opposite field girlās trip during this same weekend. Now I have to find Friday and Sunday golf options - no rush to get back home

It is hit or miss. Not ānot doableā but you canāt book until last minuteāmy attitude towards the Cradle is that it is worth it if you can loop a couple times. I will say that having driven by on Sunday mornings, it looks pretty quiet out there when the church crowd is busy in the pews.

I am currently on the alt list for SPGC on that Sunday morning but if that 9:15 tee time on the google form is not a lock and I canāt play there I would love to hit the Cradle for the first timeā¦
