We’ve secured tee times at Forest Dale at 4:50 and 5pm Friday evening.
Due to my laziness, I couldn’t get us Bonneville on Sunday (forgot to log on right at 8am this morning). I booked Riverbend at 9:20am for Sunday.
All, the forecast doesn’t look great for this weekend, but I’ll keep everyone in the loop in case there are cancellations sent from the courses.
Been wondering about the weather. Guess we will see
Weather looks like it might hold off for us tomorrow. I’m sure we’ll get a little rain at some point, but the bad stuff looks like it’ll hold off until Saturday evening.
For tee times on Saturday, I used a lovely random number generator. Here are the pairings:
10am: Seth Fisher (@WaterOnMars ), Andrew Schneider (@andrewxschneider ), Graham Davis (@gmd23 ) and Tony Davis (Graham’s father)
10:12am: Ben Matheys, Dan Jenney (@DanJ ), Ryan Bosworth (@lasercowboythorn ), Alex Okland (@AOkland )
** To secure these tee times in advance, I had to pay $10 per time. Please shoot me a Venmo for $10 when you get the chance. You’ll be able to pay for your own green fee in the clubhouse.
Venmo: ben-matheys (last 4 digits of phone number 7126)
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Have a day, boys!
Thanks to all who came out and attended the Utah Golf Event 2.0!! The weather held off and we had a beautiful walk up in the Wasatch mountains. Some less than ideal conditions with the punched and sanded greens, but we took it in stride.
I want to be the first to congratulate @andrewxschneider on the first place victory. Great playing Andrew!! He shot an 86 for a net 70, taking the victory by 4 strokes!
Final results below:
T5. @DanJ
T5. @ComfyDouble
T5. Tony Davis (non-nesticle, non-rooster)
We’re most likely targeting a summer event next year to take advantage of the beautiful Utah weather and course conditions. We’ll announce dates in the coming months so we can hopefully have a much larger turnout ![]()
Thank you all for attending! We accomplished the goal of low-stakes, but meaningful, competition. Till next year!!
Looks like a blast!! I’m glad the weather held out for you!
