#1 and #2 in the Dry Heat standings getting drawn on the same team. I can already feel the field getting nervous.
For discussion on who should be labeled the “Group Team of Death”, here are the teams and combined handicaps.
I can already feel you two getting nervous from the pressure.
Pressure is a privilege.
Sam and I are playing a few rounds together this weekend in CA and are going to get dialed in. We’re going to be so in tune with each other’s games.
Team LowCal sounds pretty all right with me. What can go wrong when you have the closest index’s of all the teams.
Geez getting in the early reps too? Probably going to roll up in coordinated outfits and finishing each others sentences!
Early favorites for sure
My dark horse group is @Iceman and @GolfGuyRN. Highest combined cap but if Eric’s swing is grooving like I saw at Isleta last year he could be dangerous!
Can’t wait! Hopefully be playing like a 6 again by then
They may have us in the first half, not gonna lie. But that might be a recipe for alt-shot success.
I always assume everyone will suck at alt shot as Americans. Freedom fries and sucking at foursomes. 'Merica!
The @jsg_nado snd @GeneralTSo team is getting lots and lots of buzz in the sabermetrics circles.
Two absolute hitters with A+ vibes.
I will admit that team does give me the sweats a bit. If those boys are rolling it like they can it may be night night.
@GolfGuyRN, all gas, no breaks!!!
Speaking of Isleta, if anyone tells me Aguila isn’t a bad walk and it’s anything like Isleta, I will choose violence.
You talking about the course in NM?
Yes, south of ABQ.
Aguila is a much better walk than Isleta haha
You ever play UNM Champ course or Paako Ridge?
I’m the black sheep of the roost down in southern NM. The only golf I’ve played in ABQ is what was at the Chile Pepper Classic last spring. We played the UNM nine holer and I played the front nine at Isleta but had to bounce at the turn. I don’t remember where the Fri afternoon and Sat afternoon rounds were. One of the locals will have to help me out.
I love ABQ! Its a fantastic low key place to stay and play.
