For the record I wasn’t there.
TTF deserves all the high praise it gets. Glad you all had a blast and I’m sad I couldn’t make it. Work sucked extra big today.
5-6-7 was my exact take.
2 and 11 are weak.
8 is HARD.
9 would be so much better if there were no maintenance road up front.
Coolest consolation prize ever (The winners got it too but whatever).
Super fun course. It reminds me about what they say about angc’s best holes: if you want par, it’s there in front of you, but if you want birdie you have to take chances and be precise.
I did not play. But might have followed this closer than PGA Chanp Sunday
Exceeded 4k raised for the Kis Foundation. SICK!
Give me 1-3 business days. I just got home. Hell of a time, I hope that this can return again. If ANYONE is in or around North Alabama, hit me up, beers on me (maybe we can get some golf in too)
Moving to middle TN this month so may take you up on that. I’m off all of July. Maybe could meet in the middle at Sewanee sometime
Don’t tempt me with a good time Weiner.
Ask them where they hit the approach from!
Completely disagree on 2 and 11. This is why golf architecture is fun.
If you took photos today, especially if you took photos WITH other folks from the community, please send them my way. we’ll do a big round up post.
Sure but even with it that’s one of my favorite par 5s anywhere
2 and 3 are probably the weakest and still very good holes. Especially for where they are in the round. Introduce you to the style of the course, get slightly harder with each one.
When we started on 4 in the fall those holes were a drag to finish on. So anticlimactic
If it was a olive-drab YETI, they do.
Might just be a sicko but actually love the 3 par three first…! Awesome way to switch it up and ask a quick question… 6 is awesome and green on 12 is wild. Overall would love another go at the back nine. 16 is an interesting green for a par 5, want to give it a few more goes to try to understand it’s ask.
Great guide though and even more insightful after the experience.!
Cheers
P.S I can imagine for the member that all the backstop options really makes it feel like you can play TTF over and over and discover options you never saw before.
