@Cody I’m going to need to hear the grievance against rumble strips.

Elite tear down of Cody’s position by Randy. # lives saved and CBA data at the ready.

In full agreement being out on apps for parking (and other things). I just bought tickets to a concert from small/local/non-Ticketmaster outlet, and they didn’t email me tickets, I have to download their app - WHY?!

I miss having a physical ticket to things. Taking my son to his first college football game this fall and printing out a screenshot of a ticket for him to put into his binder doesn’t quite hit the same.

Five Guys - $30 for a mediocre burger, an irresponsible amount of fries and a fountain drink. Not to mention you feel like you need to take a shower afterwards because of the greasy fog that lingers in the air.

I am 100% with @Tron . There is no reason to ever drive with your hazards on.

  1. You lose the ability to use your turn signals.
  2. In situations where visibility is reduced, the flashing lights make it harder for others to accurately judge their distance from you.

Knock it off, everybody.

Edit:

Keep giving me the thumbs down, you’re wrong.

Haven’t finished the episode yet, but #1 for me right now is AI flyers. Everything looks the same, no creativity or personality anymore just laziness

Couldn’t agree more with Big on the heat. As an adult I have no fondness for May-August. The dream is to be wealthy enough to escape this hellscape for the entire summer.

This pod might be Neil’s magnum opus. Incredible performance.

He was pitching a perfect game until golf ponds. That pitch got turned on and deposited into the upper deck.

Anti-pond is too far but I do agree with creek > pond

I agree but want to be clear that I am strongly anti-Ponce

I reserve it only for snow squalls in the dark. It can make a real difference in that specific situation.

Me when @djpie said he’s out on True Crime.

The national obsession with that stuff blows my mind. Just don’t understand it

I’m out on watching workers make to go orders when you are standing there waiting. Why not make the people who aren’t here wait instead of the guy staring at you?

Also out on touchscreen Coke machines.

I’m in on running red lights.

Those early mornings when you’re just sitting there and you can see a mile in every direction that no one’s coming: I’ll just go.

Good parking apps rule. City of Savannah is exemplary in this regard.

Yeah. I was in a whiteout blizzard north of Fargo this winter and if we didn’t use hazards we would have been in each others backends.

Sure, they probably should have shut the road down first but we don’t talk about that.

I’m out on places that have strict 9-5 business hours. I’m not talking about the mom and pop store that the proprietors want to be able to get home on time to have a life with their families, I’m talking about the post office, the bank, the dmv, etc. Shade on either side so that people can get there without a rush. Has never made sense to me.

I recognize postal workers and bankers have families too.
