I’m not usually one to say fire a coach who wins his division. But, McDermott got owned in the second half of that game. Buffalo was running at will, then they completely abandoned it. They might be a team Bill makes sense for. Maximize whatever window they may have left. Plus he’ll get the wins record easily.

Have the Falcons done any interviews with Ben Johnson? To me that’s the clear-cut best hire in this coaching cycle
yes - the virtually interviewed him saturday night after the playoff game so they could do a second interview between conf. champ and super bowl in the event the lions win this weekend.

I think Slowik could be a good hire as well, I just look at Johnson having more time with success as an OC, given he’s been an OC longer too. I just want to shoot for that more proven commodity.

Longer by a year and I’m a little more interested in what he accomplished with the depleted OL and weaker skill group in Houston than what Ben Johnson did in Detroit if I’m looking for an offensive minded HC to lead my team through the end of a rebuild and start of a come up (maybe more??).
