“Who we efforted” is the best part of my week.
Can’t wait.
Elon Musk sold all his CA houses and moved to Austin, btw.

@Lazstradamus so spot on about Delta being the GOAT carrier. Really there is no argument.
Shake Shack > In-N-Out
@Lazstradamus what’s your take on the california burrito?
The most successful car chase in LA history was the Juice. Acquitted.
Total Exoneration
So did Erik Anders Lang.
There are no proper California Burritos in LA. Much different, and in some ways better, burritos - but the classic California Burrito is a San Diego thing. El Ruso is the truth.
Maybe the best American carrier but even that is debatable.
I’ll never forget listening to radio news coverage of the OJ car chase as my family was in the car driving to vacation. Surreal.
“This is AC, goddammit!”
The only time I’ve been to LA was a few years before that. I was in 3rd grade and got to miss a week of school because my Dad had a business conference.
I found out later that my Dad had his choice of tickets to take us to a Dodgers game or to Medieval Times. He chose Medieval fucking Times over a Dodgers game!
I remember watching that chase and gunfight live on tv with those Russian (I think) dudes dressed in Kevlar jackets in all black, with ski masks and fully automatic assault rifles. Didn’t end well for the robbers. It was like the inspiration for the movie Heat. It was nuts.
I’ve honestly never been more infuriated with @Lazstradamus as I am now, stewing over his egregious Westsider Hollywood trolling. I was willing to forgive his romanticization of Sherman Oaks. Multiple namedrops of Rustic Canyon restaurant (which is fine; it’s fine. It was better 10 years ago, but it’s what passes for event dining in Santa Monica) betrayed him as a Midwesterner at heart who has rarely left the bougie confines of Santa Monica except to make one of his many visits to swank country clubs. To be sure, his claim that L.A. gets a bad rap for traffic makes it clear he has never had a daily commute downtown on the 101. (Sherman Oaks would not look so good if he had.)
But Hollywood is much more than the Walk of Fame, Laz. It’s the Arclight and Amoeba Records; it’s K&L wines; it’s many of the best and most fun restaurants and bars in the city, from Jitlada and Providence to Da Michele and El Compadre. It’s the Palladium and Melrose Ave.
Hollywood is no armpit, Sir. If you were just a little worse at golf, I’d challenge you to a duel.
I was wondering if I was going to hear a Barney’s Beanery reference too.
You forgot about the rampant drug use and widespread prostitution.
You can thank your Democratic Party sweetheart, Mayor, former City Councillor from Hollywood, and son of racist thug, Eric Garcetti for that.

Laz spot on re Delta but he messed up that Jet Blue left
Long Beach airport. I love That airport but Jet Blue is all LAX now.
having flown Singapore Airlines a few times, yes, you do want to fly them. A melbourne - singapore flight on their A380 was one of the best flights ive ever done (the return leg the A380 got swapped out for a 777 ) - and then there is Changi airport its self, so much to see and do there.
I once flew LA → Singapore Non-Stop Roundtrip on a Singapore Airlines Airbus 340-500. Fantastic Airline and great flight. 17.5 hours non-stop!
