This is where i stand on E-Bikes as well, 10+ years ago plenty of kids had mopeds, but you needed a license, and most mopeds take over 100-150 yards to get to top speed. These E-Bikes accelerate so much quicker and still get to a similar top end speed, I totally side with everyone that they are very dangerous and need to be better policed.
Most of our local towns have put in pretty heavy restrictions on where the E-Bikes and Scooters can be ridden, as there have been many pretty severe and unfortunately even a few deadly accidents.
Why can’t kids ride bicycles anymore?

Loved hearing Fredrick Law Olmstead on the list of things that are sick, but it is a huge miss to not have “parks” in general on the list of things that are sick. Great parks make cities great.
