The e-bikes piss me off when I’m walking my dog around nyc and they ride for like an entire block on the sidewalk and almost hit my dog. Happens almost weekly. I get they have to park on the sidewalk but riding along the entire length of a sidewalk for sometimes more than a block and without making any noise is a liability to everyone nearby

JW - Did they know you were riding an e-bike? Or was it a don’t ask don’t tell situation?
because, I’m just thinking if I was recovering from an injury, and my doctor is recommending alternative transportation; you could give me 100 guesses and I’d never guess e-bike as an alternative option.
Happy it sounds like your on the mend - not trying to be ablest - I’m just ignorant of this use case.

Hell yeah.
More of a don’t ask situation. Needed a way to get around and still live my life at some level of normalcy without having to pay extra amounts to do normal things.
It was 3 months where I wasn’t able to drive. I wore a helmet and was extremely cautious.

I’ve had this happen in rural TN a few times. The people on these e-bikes are out of control.
I was screaming this when the news came after Taco Bell for a day. It is not their fault the CDC stopped tracking this stuff like they should!

E bikes should have similar age and licensing restrictions to mopeds. I had to take a class and pass a test to ride a moped and the youngest you can be is 14.

Camera mirrors suck when you get in a rear ended and need to get the camera replaced. Kinda like the digital dashboards that need to be fully replaced instead of just fixing one dial on your dashboard. Don’t turn back the dial. BRING back the dial.

- CPR
- Cameras
- Door locks
- Photosynthesis
- Batteries
- The societal agreement to flash our headlights to other motorists when there is some sort of hazard or speed trap ahead
- The sewer system
