If you want to bring a dog, drive. Entitled dog owners make us normal dog owners look terrible.
I’m still shook from a person bringing a dog on a leash onto a train from Marseille to Paris.
As a pitty owner I can’t imagine having one on a plane. I can also confirm their farts are lethal and clear a room. It’s particularly bad if the animal is stressed. I can’t imagine when it turned into the hazmat situation.
Bought some orange and cream mini popsicles are they are incredibly good
Got the same multipack from Costco, they’re delightful! Usually find myself sneaking back in for another.
And a spin-off for the one here in Perth (now RIP in peace after a redevelopment of the train line.)
@Randy Cretaceous is pronounced cre-TAY-shuss. Geologic ages are all tough to pronounce - all from different languages so no mea culpa here. Creta is chalk in Latin and the Cretaceous is named for the chalk rocks that are common during this time like the rocks of the white cliffs of Dover. Denver and especially farther east of the front range are mostly Cretaceous aged marine sedimentary rocks. The area was once an ocean that connected the Gulf of Mexico with the Arctic Ocean.
Washed Media x NLU crossover episodes are the best
@Tron Shouting out Asheville during the Omni ad read. We like that.
Nebraska golf trip coming up
Was just coming to post that. He caught himself saying “Tourist sauce” and stopped.
Dave describing their demo as “guys in their late 20s, 30s, hell even early 40s with no real plans for the weekend” really knocked the wind out of me.
For the uneducated, who is this D-man?
Gonna be a metric fuckton of driving if they are planning Nebraska.
GreyBull and Wild Horse are close.
CapRock and Prairie Club are very close to each other.
Dismal River and Sand Hills are close.
Everything else is a haul and just getting to Wild Horse from Omaha is 4 hours.
My guess, in order:
Omaha CC
Lost Rail
Wild Horse
GreyBull Club
Sand Hills
Dismal River
CapRock Ranch
Prairie Club
Landmand
Or the two Omaha courses, up to Landmand and reverse the order but ending at Landmand would be pretty sick.
David ruff from washed media co host of Circling back and former co host of touching base (total frat move and post grad problems)
D-man aka Dave Ruff aka dcarterruff on Instagram hosts the Circling Back pod with Dorn and (formerly) Will. There’s been a handful of crossovers between them and NLU. He was also on the Austin city Trap Draw that everyone seemed to shit on.
These dudes were at Total Frat Move back when I was in college and Post Grad Problems after that. The pod has always been very relatable because the content has basically mirrored what it’s like to go from a college kid to post grad to “full blown adult” all in real time as it happens to you.
Give it a try. There’s a loading phase.
(For the record there are multiple bits in this that make me sound insane to anyone that doesn’t listen to Circling Back)
