Neil doing the wrestling fan imitation bit was the best

100%. The flow of the conversation and tangential riffing was super engaging.

You know the boys are cooking when TC is saying ā€œhold on, let’s circle back to the last question no one answeredā€.

They will be building some in 2025-2026 in Boston and JFK

I feel like JetBlue gets a bad wrap from the guys. Its one of the main carriers out of Boston and I find the planes to be newer, cleaner, and more comfortable than all the Delta planes ive been on.

I like both JetBlue and Delta out of Boston. You get outside JetBlues hubs and it starts getting really Spirity really quickly

Reminded me of the 1923 lookback pod that Neil and DJ had from a few years ago. Elite trap draw episode

So netlfix stock is booming after earnings report say 19 million new subscribers in Q4 of 2024. Then they say they wont report sub numbers anymore and are adding a price hike.

Is it just me or is this largely based off Chiefs on Christmas day live NFL on Netflix? There’s no way the value of netflix is better now imo

They’re also raising prices including the subscription with ads. Say they want to focus on more live tv. I’d rather see better original content with substance instead of teen dramas.

300,000,000 subscribers paying an average of $14 (probably low) making over $4BILLION monthly and you can’t come up with better content?

I know there’s a ton of overhead and operating costs, don’t get me wrong, but still seems like everything else. product stays the same or gets worse while they continue reporting record profits.

To quote the great Ed Zitron: that’s just Rot Society

This is a tired take but we are just back to subpar content with ads, so like network tv 15 years ago? There are good shows everyone in a while but so much garbage getting pumped out every year with nothing sticking.

This Northern California lithium battery factory fire seems worth monitoring. Some independent journalists on the ground and reporting that the EPA and their testing contractor, the notorious CTEH, are not exactly doing their jobs. Locals reporting adverse health stuff already, including severe skin issues, and this is all in the area where a massive amount of our fruits and vegetables are grown

Matter of time before the lithium battery stuff came to a head.

Electric cars are likely worse for the environment than regular gas cars are and lithium batteries are a huge reason why.

Just switched banks and CCs and we were paying for so many subscriptions I’m pretty sure it cost more than cable lmao.

I watch more YouTube than anything these days due to it being able to be extremely niche.

Agreed! We should bring back regular gas powered cell phones and laptops too!

Little difference between a battery big enough to power a phone and a car, i think.
