Yeah but you also have to think about how long you would’ve held it.

Don’t beat yourself up. Hindsight and all that.

Obviously I’m crypto cynical, but I enjoyed this episode recently from Plain English: Is Crypto Entering a New Golde - Plain English with Derek Thompson - Apple Podcasts

Same for me. Two things make me not regret it too much: I never would have figured out how to buy it on the black market, and there’s no way I’d still be holding it

Appreciate @Randy and @Tron giving my Bobcats some props on the MAC title.

Lol, good point. If I bought it at $0.25, I’m not sure how far above $100 I would have let it get before cutting bait especially being fresh out of college.

My young self did that with Ethereum when I’d made a tidy $150 profit - would be five figures now if I had diamond hands

The only people who made crazy returns on crypto either forgot about it but somehow didn’t lose it, were already wealthy (Winklevoss twins) or are insane degenerates.

The other 99.99% of the population would sell for a variety of reasons.

This is my thought process with ETH. To the :crescent_moon:

Get. The. Olds. Out. Of. Office.

Back in 2011 one of the guys in our poker group was about € 1250 in debt to one of the other regulars. As part of his repayment he offered 100 bitcoins, along with a stolen iPad and some other stuff. He said "the Bitcoins will be worth at least 500 if he’d wait a year or 2. Everyone laughed at him, including me. He ended up paying 250 bucks and was banned for life.

Apparently he was in a lot of debt and someone else took the bitcoin offer a short time later, as it was pretty much the only thing the guy had left.

Fun fact: He is in prison for drug trafficking now.

By any chance, is your friend Quincy Promes?

Ha, I wish he was in jail! Apparently that POS is living a pretty lavish life in Dubai.

Nope, had me puzzled as well. I just assumed it was what John Belushi shouted during the dancing to Shout when they all lie down. As I am a bit younger than randy’s dad I can only imagine the carnage if they all laid down and then had to get back up.

That just broke my brain. That is totally how I remembered his character.

He vertainly not a biological uncle, but they never referred to him as “uncle Joey” as a colloquialism?

curious to see how high this goes but the bid gets 4 people to play… currently like ~$400/person for a round with a pro at a private club in Jupiter plus lunch. Not a horrible deal.
