Absolutely my favorite story of the week. A bunch of flat earthers got flown to Antarctica to see the midnight sun, and they’re not handling it well.

Apparently they think that the midnight sun should not be possible with a flat earth.

For some it is probably a bit, but it seems there are people who genuinely believe the earth is flat.

i struggle with the idea that anyone can genuinely believe it if shown enough evidence. anyone who does will stop any discussion short of being proven otherwise and they never have any compelling rationale of their own. they just believe it but can’t go any further.

it’s not a bit but also it doesn’t ever feel like a well researched or thought out opinion.
