Don’t ask.

A State Senator, who is also an Anesthesiologist, was a big reason why it got rescinded here. Unfortunately, hasn’t been rescinded in Missouri and New York yet though

Looks like it was just killed in Missouri too

If there was one thing I could change tomorrow, it would be to eliminate health insurance and let the doctors compete with each other on price.

Let us negotiate like we’re buying a car.

In that scenario, do poor people just not get to have health care?

Should also add that you’re free to do this now. This is now most Amish communities handle their health care. They call around to find a hospital that will give them the best cash price and then go there. Of course, if someone in the community can’t afford the care they need, the other families will usually pitch in to help them pay for it, which kinda seems like a really good way to handle healthcare if you scale it up to, say…350 million people or so

Not exactly in a position to haggle when you’re in the back of an ambulance in an emergency situation

Little tongue in cheek there. My apologies.

Point being that the doctors office is the only place you can go where you never know what it’s going to cost you as you walk out.

Looks like we’re 48 hours or less way from Syria fully collapsing.

Has been insane to follow the collapse, appears that a large part of it was the vacuum caused by Israel taking out Hezbollah and Russia using so many resources in Ukraine

Turns out it was way less.

Now we wait to see if this is legit or how he dissapears

This is terrible. But I kind of love it.

What’s next for Syria? More chaos?
