Might need a Wednesday morning Zoom for the occasion.
Can he make a slide deck for us to share what he’s been up to while he’s been away?
Someone will have to touch base with him so he can circle back to us with that.
Certainly. I just think it’d be a good idea to level set since he’s been out a while so we can make sure we are aligned moving forward.
Just went through that thread. He said in there he is giving his paralegal the password until Nov 16th.
So, could be either day really. Excited to have him back though.
Hopefully the paralegal didn’t quit since then, or else we might end up with another Chico situation.
Who’s gonna tell @Randy he lives in the desert?
I’ve lived in the same town for my whole life and holy shit the last 5 minutes made me want to pack up and give big city living a shot. Absolutely great work! I need to get back out to NY and see more than Manhattan ASAP.
Loved the video.
Can’t imagine living in NY
I felt immense joy watching how fucking pumped Randy was getting with the magician.
That whole video was just fun as fuck
God I love NYC. This video was a joy to watch.
Thank you thank you! Great video and looked like an epic weekend. As a fellow neighborhood resident, I feel qualified to partake in the time-honored New Yorker tradition of grading / nitpicking the food / bev selections:
MozzLab - No notes.
Bar Great Harry - Excellent choice. Always a nice low-key vibe. Some other potential neighborhood bars that could’ve worked: Abiliene (similar but more fam oriented), Union Grounds or Wingbar (more sports bars), Brooklyn Social (closest comp but might not be Randy’s scene)
Bar Bruno - Mexican food in NYC is always underwhelming IMO, so found this to be an odd choice - espesically for a guest from Denver where they have great mexican food (although the outdoor seats there are great). Would’ve leaned Italian here - Gersi (solid backyard), Frankies (the standard bearer of the neighborhood), or even Cafe Spaghetti (can be tough to get a res)
Paisano’s butcher + rooftop cookout - No notes.
Anyways - hats off to Neil for doing a great job showcasing the neighborhood and NYC!
Just visited a college buddy who lives in Greenpoint and he took me to Taqueria Ramirez and it blew me away. He’s from LA and I live in San Diego so I was a little surprised he was taking me to a Mexican spot but it lived up to his hype!
Congrats, Ed!
Tiffany is back on her bullshit in Dolton.
Trustees agreed to return three luxury SUVs leased for Henyard’s use, which WGN Investigates revealed cost residents more than $374,000, but Henyard vowed to veto the decision.
Despite the high cost of the SUVs, Henyard still called out a trustee who spent $619 dollars on training.
Absolutely loved this video. Probably the highest production quality to date and just delightful, vibey content.
Did you get new cameras? Editing software? Both? It is exceptionally well done. Bravo.
Big day in the courtyard! Several of the ginkgo trees shed their leaves this afternoon! Still a few more left but I expect them to be bare by Monday.
Monitoring.
paralegal didn’t quit, but is on vacation, she left me the keys to the kingdom a few days early.
Did I miss anything?
