Trap Draw: Chicago

Another winner. JB sounded like an absolute liability in his youth. Appreciated the discussion about typical movement to different Chicago neighborhoods as you age, get more money, start a family, etc.

Verstappen is the wooooorst.

Mea culpa:
Discussion of every NBA series but not one breath spent on the Stanley Cup Playoffs (best playoffs in sports, save for NCAA tournament). Abhorrent. Disgraceful.

NT Bandits sounded like absolute terrors. Loved it

Always appreciate the Trap Draw but this one was a big swing and miss. Outside of the funny college stories, JB knew about as much as Tron about Chicago. Cursory knowledge of the neighborhoods, sports, dining, golf, grocery stores… would’ve loved someone with more insight. Another thing - Mariano’s was started by a guy that worked at Dominick’s! They then moved into the majority of the old Dominick’s locations. They’ve also gone downhill since being bought by Kroger… Love the pod, but get a more knowledgeable guest next time for the Second City!

The lack of Malort discussion was criminal. I expect a Mea Culpa and an in-depth discussion next week.

@Tron - not having TSA PreCheck is shocking for all the travel NLU does

Listen, it is. I have Clear but not having pre-check or global entry is a huge miss. TC regrets the error.

What is it about random construction/road cones that makes HS boys steal them and throw them in random yards? I say this because I did the exact same thing so much. Thankfully no cops involved, just pissed off parents who knew it was us.

… for sure…

Respectfully, are we sure that JB has lived in Chicago for 15 years and not something a little closer to 15 months?

And to think that logistics are provided by the TC Way. Just a massive oversight.

They should have interviewed the two day-regulars at Bruno’s who’d argue about hot dog stands that have been closed for 35 years.

We did something similar… we would drive around and steal real estate for sale signs from yards and once we had a good bit on hand, we’d just dump them all in another person’s yard. We did it with campaign signs during the election of 08’ too. Thankfully cops never got involved either

Cannot comprehend or stand for any amount of Luka hate.

Euroleague mvp at 19 (lol), 29/9/9 his second year in the league…dude is an absolute killer.

If the complaint is that he bitches and moans for calls, then the NBA probably isn’t the right league for you to be watching (hello Draymond, LBJ, the entire Rockets and Jazz rosters).

@Tron Dorothy Lane Market is your type of grocery store. I recommend checking it out if you ever find yourself in the Dayton area. Official grocery store of Dayton C-Suiters.

@Tron not having PreCheck was absolutely triggering for me. It seems y’all could be leveraging credit cards better. Merch and general business expenses generate points, then use the points to pay for your business travel. Get premium cards with perks like lounge access and Global Entry fee waivers in the first year. We get more Tourist Sauces, everybody wins.

You could also use the points for personal travel like, say, a honeymoon (@soly).

This means the CFO (@Randy) would have one of these cards and the lounge would come into play on Strapped trips. I just cannot support this in good faith.

No lounge access on arrival or departure from the location and I’m ok with it
