Very cool to see two of my world’s collide. If you haven’t listened to any of Ben’s music, he is undoubtedly one of those artists that deserve way more PRAISE (better @anon47037505 ?) then he gets. A good man to boot.
The pod got waaay to indepth with certain aspects of the recording process, as was audibly obvious by @Randy gasping in dispair, but the entire thing felt like me hanging out with a few dudes just shooting the shit about music.

I need to listen, but I’ve been listening to Ben Rector since like 2008. When he got known in the golf world it was pretty surreal.
My fiancee has been listening to Ben for a very long time, even seen him in concert once or twice. It’s never been my type of music, but after listening to the pod I’m a fan. He seemed hilarious and like a solid dude. Sent the pod to her hoping to get her to dip her toes into the NLU-universe.
