Eh the hartsfield Popeyes is probably more
The Ivy has its place as an after college graduate bar. But yeah thats about it.
It’s drinks are more expensive then a cocktail lounge in midtown Manhattan. So dumb. Actually all of buckhead sucks when it comes to going out.
I’m all for the dark horse.
You guys should have known Buckhead around 1991. It was something.
The Ivy seems like one of those places I’m glad I didn’t get the chance to go to.
It’s over hyped and over priced. But then again, I’m more of a pub person.
I do like Ormsbys though
As we all know, Atlanta is a special place in the strip club world.
So, whats your go to/favorite spot in the city?
For me, I’m gonna have to go with Follies.
I’d second Follies and Marie Gras. #RIP to both
For current options, Oasis and the Pony are always reliable
And I will say, since it was on the pod, some of you guys have no idea what The Gold Club was like pre-trouble.
I just like the name “oasis good time implorium”… sounds like a Chuck E. Cheese for adults
I’ll keep shouting it from the rooftops, the fried chicken taco at the original el taco (Terminal C & F) is an ELITE taco. I’m already licking my chops at having one hungover next Sunday on the way home from a buddies trip.
There have been numerous conversations about a northside airport. The biggest thing standing in the way is Delta. Few airlines control a market (none?) the way Delta controls ATL and they’ll fight a second airport until the bitter end.
Even up to the early 2000’s, then Ray Lewis stabbed that guy and it went downhill fast.
@Airball Ormsby’s is tolerable as long as there’s not a bunch of Tech nerds running roughshod over all the #activities
@mearley44 does this mean the ivy closed? If so thank god.
I’d be more worried for frat douchebags in there more than tech nerds
Hell yes. Get ‘em while you can.
Only mildly topic adjacent, but does anybody else get caught thinking, “What the F*ck, why is Patrick Reed a permanent member of the Euro Tour?”
Is Peachtree actually good, or just a place the members get off on being members?
No, it’s still open, I’ve just aged out.
If you choose drums over flats then any opinion held on wings is null and void.
That being said… American Deli in decatur, 10pc teriyaki, all flat, xtra crispy.
