I’m just now starting the episode, but there are few things in the world that will get me as pumped up as seeing Spencer Hall on a 2+ hour Trap Draw.
Throwing in Otmar Szafnauer’s story for @Tron
The Atlanta minutia I’m expecting from this pod has me incredibly excited
The Wegmans dismissal is just criminal. We need a strapped-esque series where the entire NLU crew can only eat food from the local grocery stores.
Two worlds of mine are colliding and I couldn’t be happier.
I wasn’t familiar with the guest before the episode, but Jim Gaffigan is both funny and entertaining.
live across the street from this bad boy. it’s been newly renovated as Spencer said. is Kroger’s attempt at making this whole food vibe with a hot bar, drink bar, etc. it still stinks.
Bought nicorette lozenges at disco kroger in 2015-2017. Can confirm that place stinks out loud.
“Richard Jewell is dead”
Ya know what we’ll try and get him anyway!
we know which side @jcm3 has chosen in this battleground. truly a terrible take. disappointing doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Spencer’s take about going to play 18 on a weekend being much more palatable when it’s the Atlanta Falcons as the other option spoke to my soul.
Everyone who rides for Publix like it is some sort of golden god of grocers is a suburb lifer.
The Publix in ATL are terrible. Does Kroger have flaws. Yes, does it have issues yet, but its so much better on the whole. Cheaper, I can have a beer, insane shit going down in and around it, plus low key good sushi.
The best kroger in the city and the worst kroger in the city are both within 10 minutes of me. Its amazing.
A couple Drew Magary references from @djpie and I’m glad we are on the same page. I used to absolutely love that guy but now it’s an insufferable fire hose of whining. He’s turned into someone that is funny to someone that tells you to fuck off if you disagree with him at all (which is hilarious given his past content).
I feel like I’m missing some up and coming bloggers/writers…anyone got some recs?
also incredible to hear that Spencer lives in the West End and is a Publix die hard. He’s gotta be traveling at least 15 minutes to get the nearest Publix with no traffic, passing at least one Kroger and other grocery options along the way. Total commitment to the brand.
Oh Yea. I live in the same area so there def isn’t one super close. To be fair, there is a Kroger right here that may be the worst grocery store in america. You have to to a completely closed off area to get certain products, that they have barricaded from the rest of the store.
When you have kids, youll stop going to Kroger. The insane shit going on in and around it will be the reason. Publix runs Atlanta.
That’s the reason I go to Kroger, playboy.
I am upset there isn’t a ton of debate in this forum about Wawa v Publix…
How can you possibly hate cheese? This guest sucks ass.
It’s been 30 years since I lived in Atlanta, but I was a Kroger Howell Mill man.
