Trap Draw : Airports 4.1 now out

Thanks for the feedback. Based off this may aim for SNA if it works.

Additional disclaimer I’m bringing my 2 and 3 yo kids - so looking to make this flight/airport the least PITA possible. Sounds like SNA may be it - haven’t looked at rental car prices/availability yet.

SNA is a fabulous low key airport…it just doesn’t have the same options as an LAX or SAN. But it is a great airport.

AA on their bullshit today. Had two flights leaving the same gate scheduled 15 mins apart. Obviously 2nd flight (which I was on) delayed an hour.

Now we have a gate lice extravaganza at DFW. Fun stuff. Happy travels!

Was this an eagle flight?

This makes me so happy that I’m flying into Love tonight instead of DFW. My dad went through DFW last night and it didn’t sound to terrible, but he was coming through with the kings of the air (Delta).

If you’re headed to Palm Springs, I would take a look at Ontario. It’s a no frills airport that’s only about a 75 minute drive from ONT. I know there used to be some Delta nonstops from ATL, not sure if that is still the case.

SNA over SAN for sure IMO. Ideally PSP is by far the best option. One of the best airports anywhere. Incredibly easy to get in and out of. Too bad there are no good options with Delta for you to make that happen (this is the main reason I fly AA as their options out of PSP to connecting hubs are better than my other choices IMO).

Otherwise, like @tbova said above, I’d look at ONT (Ontario) before buying tickets. If there is a good option for where you’re flying from, it’s about 20-30 minutes closer to Palm Springs than SNA and less busy than SNA or SAN.

I also saw earlier this week that AA is trying to sell flights with 25 minute layovers in PHX and ATX. That is some real bullshit, esp. at PHX.

I booked a ski trip earlier this year. Only good way to get into Aspen from DCA is via AA with a layover in O’Hare. The layover is under 30 minutes, so I’m not even gonna try to bring my own skis. Time to do some demo’s.

Just making sure @Soly sees this, as well as the replies.

Happy to look into this. What was your flight number and your destination? Just want to make sure we have all of the facts here.

Looking into this furiously while I can. But I show AA2807 taking off on time out of D37 and am struggling to find the next flight to leave out of that gate. I checked all American flights out of DFW leaving within an hour and 20 minutes of AA2807 and I’m yet to see one. Did they end up moving gates for you?

Once more information is obtained, I’m happy to help.

I’m exited to hear about NLU’s flight voucher program.

Does NLU have AA Gold as an employee benefit, Soly? Just started a new gig and found out that’s a perk.

We got Executive level at National this year as a benefit. I can’t wait to see how that doesn’t help me at all when they are out of cars at Love Field when I land at 11:30 tonight.

I’m glad to hear you are enjoying your status as an AA Golf member [insert_name]. Is there anything else I can help you with today? Would you be available to take a brief survey about your experience using the AA help desk?

Wow. What service. LIT to DFW American Airlines flight 3794
