I’ll gleefully take my overhead bin space with my laptop bag and not think twice about rollers.

I don’t want to kick my laptop around my feet.

why should they

I never pay for my bags on United. You just gotta know how to play the game.

Neither have I

Haven’t flown in years. When’s the best/cheapest time to book an October domestic flight

Delta One Lounge at LAX is unreal. Highly recommend if you get the chance. Private security. Just a great experience.

JFK major gate lice issues. Delta gate agent was aggressive but still bad scene.

Premium select is not bad.

and, what, 85% of the flying population doesn’t play the game?

I like the strategy that I’ve seen happen both on Air Canada and Aer Lingus in the last year. Anyone can check their bag at the gate and if they don’t get enough they will make everyone below a certain zone check any rolling bag.

Forever will die on the hill that carry-ons should be charged and first checked bag should be free

They tried this but they did it a zone too late.

Did you pay more for your seat than them? Why are you entitled to that space just because you bring a bigger carry on?

because they’re explicitly told not to do that

Technically they’re asked not to do that, but yeah, fuck that. Until they give me a discount for not using overhead space, my backpack has as much a right to that space as the roll boards that some cheapskate doesn’t want to check.

Nice ninja edit from “Fuck them” to “fuck that”
