This is a major thing here. Locals will wait for their turn.
Recently I hosted my intern and we took a day trip to Kauai. Our flight out was a local heavy flight. The intern (from Michigan) was actually shocked that no one stood up until their turn.
The return flight was heavy with tourists. Everyone rushed the fucking aisle.

I’ve kept my mouth shut long enough. These baggage scanners at security with the automated bin loading and 4 stations are evidence of blatant fraud. If DOGE wants to come for TSA, ignore the people, come for the equipment contracts.
Every equipment change must need 2 qualifications, faster and more accurate. These machines do neither!

Those machines are a perfect example of what makes the TSA experience for frequent fliers annoying… every airport is different for some reason! And if you do it wrong you get yelled at and treated like you are an idiot.
Do I have to use the bins or not? Do you want my boarding pass in addition to my ID? Make it a national standard!

currently my most frequent flights is ATL - PHX. drastically different TSA experiences! it’s infuriating.

This is a great episode.
I am convinced that ATL and DEN are in competition to see who can confuse the most passengers about where you’re supposed to go for the security checkpoint.

I did it 3 times last year. Only flew delta one of times and others just had a carry on. Parked at international Park and ride and at my gate in 20 minutes.
