Would I wear them walking around NYC or any other major pedestrian area? Probably not. But here, I hop in a car to go most places. I’m running a quick errand? Going to the gym? Maybe even grabbing a bite somewhere? It’s 105 out in July? Yeah, I’m putting on flip flops, maybe even with pants.

Flip flops to the rink or to the course before changing into appropriate sports related footwear - with a pair of real shoes to wear afterwards for anything in public.
I assume anyone adult that wears flip flops in public has a foot fetish. I’m not here to yuck your yum, you do you Rex Ryan.

wear flops to the course, put on sock and golf shoes to play, then put on shoes to go out afterwards?
why not just wear the shoes to the course if thats the case?
