Certainly noted that one of Jayās first projects after he hung his own shingle was to take on the redesign of SentryWorld ā¦ an RTJ Jr design.
Also worth noting that when I praise a place like Poppy Hills, RTJ Jr was responsible for the original design in the (late 80s? early 90s?) that no one ever really liked. Credit to him and his team for getting back out and transforming it into the great course it is now. But it will forever be fighting an uphill battle because the first 20+ years of its reputation were not great and thatās on him, too.

Most expensive course in the country, by a mile. Yet with the current exchange rate itās still under $250. Expensive golf isnāt really a thing on Sweden - this is the exception. Annual dues at most places are well under the equivalent of $1,000.

This is exactly how Iāve heard it too. My friend - a NLU fan but frustratingly not a Nesticle - belongs to a club in the Bay Area that has a full renovation plan by Jay Blasi, and itās clear the guy has CHOPS. RTJ is so hit-and-miss, it seems like heās mostly a name at CHambers Bay.

Thatās wild and itās always baffled me as to why American golf seems to be so pricey compared to a lot of other countries. While at the same time a lot of courses are struggling to make money. Iām sure the exchange rate plays into this, but it canāt be all of it. Iād love to find a deep dive on some of the similarities and differences in how US based courses are run and managed compared to some of these other courses. I would suspect the maintenance budgets on US courses are higher. But honestly, I donāt really know.

I donāt want to even think about the permissions needed to fly a drone over/ near the Oresund bridge. Was it an ask for forgiveness later situation?
Also, and I dont wanna go all Osint, this might be Ystad. It also might be any number of ancient towns in Sweden.

Who all filmed/edited? They deserve some serious props already just for the quality of the trailer.
Production was myself, @Cody, @Soly and @djpie. Cody and I knocked out a lot of the nuts and bolts/anything where DJ is in the shot. DJ does a lot of the planning and detail stuff. Soly is the drone man (ask him about his license!). Everyone held the camera at some point.
